How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could figure out what an e/w payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet. 
 
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and it shows the return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. The thing that really changed how I bet is the nerdier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners. 
 
Not all sunshine though. The design is a bit basic — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but worth saying. 
 
Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.</blockquote><br>
